Stage 5

A stage of about 5.5 hours to Odeceixe, famous for the beach where the river meets the sea. The trail continues along headlands and dips to beaches - steady up and down rather than one big climb.

Odeceixe is a good town stop with cafes and shops. Book ahead in peak weeks; the lagoon beach draws plenty of visitors.
